I recently took a week off to ride from Thurso back to home in Edinburgh. I’d never properly ridden the north east “Flow Country” and also aimed to ride right though Glen Affric on the way which I’d also not been all the way along before. Mostly, despite some harsh weather, it went well apart from snapping my saddle rails early on.
